What to wear...

Don't know what to wear for your session? Don't panic, I am here for you and will guide you through every step! This is possibly the most important part- choosing what to wear besides the session. It's important because the colors, patterns, and textures of your clothes should compliment your location. That might be overwhelming but the links below will help give you some ideas! But I will give you one important tip - DRESS LIKE YOURSELF, WEAR WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL GOOD, AND WHAT YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AND CONFIDENT IN.

here are some do's and don'ts on what to wear...

Matching is out and coordinating is in! Avoid neon colors.

Skip the baseball caps and hoodies with logos, brands, cartoons, or public figures. (even for the kiddos)

Leave behind your small stripes and high contrast patterns.

Keep accessories and jewelry simple, or skip it altogether. (Gentleman, please leave those big fancy watches at home).

Wear your hair how you like it, but typically stay away from ponytails. Typically, the looser and more flexible the style, the better!

Your clothing, makeup, and hair should somewhat natural, and have your hair frame your features.

Stick to solidmuted colors–earthy tones, muted gem tones, monochrome, beige, and taupe are my favorite! (hint, hint, hint!)

Low contrast outfits (if your shirt is pure white, go for lighter color bottom pieces.)

Flatter your figure–don’t wear clothes that are entirely too tight or loose. Wear something you feel beautiful in.

Coordinate your clothing–in group photos, try to keep everyone on the same page and color palette of 2-4 colors.

Dress in long skirts, pants, or dresses. There is just something about a long flowy dress that photographs so beautifully, and you will have so much fun wearing one!

When in doubt go to my Pinterest to visually see! Plus, you have me to help, just text me your ideas and we will pick your color palette together!

P.S You could always choose a dress from my client closet for an additional fee - I am always adding beautiful pieces!
